Santa comes early for young anglers!

“We are delighted to announce that orders for more than €50,000 were made today; this tackle and safety equipment for 30 coaching units will be available to our coach volunteers in 2015.
The funds were granted to us by Minister Michael Ring through the Sports Capital Programme. The Irish Sports Council was instrumental in negotiating this level of support for angling.
The NCFFI and ACI now have the resources to drive a comprehensive programme for novice anglers. This programme will be delivered through AFYDI (Angling For Youth Development Ireland) and strategy meetings with our partners are already scheduled.”
